The board is 8 × 9 hexes. Your fleet: Cluster (4), Node A/B (3), Runner A/B (2).
Every ship is a straight line along one of the three hex axes, and ships never touch, not even at a corner.
Deploying: tap a cell to place, R to rotate, Auto-deploy to let the yard do it.
In battle you fire at one enemy cell per turn. A hit earns another shot; a miss hands the turn over.
First fleet to go down loses. Your score is the number of shots you took, so lower is better.
The AI never peeks at your board. On Hard it ranks every cell by how many ship placements still fit there.
